Editorial Policy
This policy explains what EveryPoem publishes and how readers can interpret the labels, credits, and commentary used throughout the site.
Authorship and attribution
EveryPoem Studio house voices are transparent editorial personas used to keep a consistent tone across collaborative original work. They do not claim fictional personal histories; each links to a disclosure page. Individually submitted work is published only with the contributor's permission and chosen public credit.
Poem labels and analysis
Forms, themes, moods, and literary devices are editorial classifications. They help with discovery but are interpretive rather than absolute. Analyses should explain the language on the page without inventing biographical claims or presenting one reading as definitive.
Collections and search pages
A collection is published only when the catalogue has enough relevant poems and the label is supported by poem-level data. EveryPoem does not use fabricated ratings, readership counts, favorites, or “trending” claims to rank poems.
Corrections and rights concerns
Readers and rights holders can report a mistaken label, attribution issue, duplicated text, or other concern through the contact page. Substantive corrections are reviewed against the source data and applied across the catalogue rather than patched on one page only.
