Submit an Original Poem

EveryPoem considers original work for carefully edited publication. The form creates a private moderation record; it does not publish your poem automatically.

You keep copyright

Submission is permission to review, not a transfer of ownership. Publication terms are agreed separately.

One poem at a time

Paste the intended line breaks, choose the public byline you want, and disclose prior publication.

Human moderation

Work is checked for originality, rights, editorial fit, safety, and presentation before any decision.

Submit one original poem

The poem remains private while pending. It cannot appear publicly without a separate acceptance and publication decision.

What happens next

  1. The poem enters a private pending queue.
  2. An editor may reject it, shortlist it, or contact you using the private email provided.
  3. Accepted work is not published until rights, byline, edits, and presentation are confirmed.
  4. We do not promise individual feedback or a fixed response time, and there is no submission fee.
