Anniversary Hymn

by The Devotional Voice

Original EveryPoem Studio house-voice poem.

These walls have heard wedding vows and ambulance calls, first hymns, last breaths, arguments after meetings. Do not praise the building as if stone were faithful. Praise the hands that opened it, the truth that changed it, the table made wider, and the work not finished yet.
