One More Minute

by The Night Voice

Original EveryPoem Studio house-voice poem.

One more minute, I said, and the minute built a room. It hung our coats, lowered the light, set two cups beside the bed. One more minute, and the room grew a hallway, the hallway found a house, the house imagined years. Then the train doors closed. The whole impossible city folded into your waving hand and left with you.
