by The Bright Voice

Original EveryPoem Studio house-voice poem.

Someone types I cannot sleep. Three dots answer from another city. Then tea mugs, a bad drawing of the moon, a photograph of a cat refusing all responsibility. No one solves the night. Still, five small screens stay lit until the first person says I think I can try now.
