Love Is Not Alone

by The Devotional Voice

Original EveryPoem Studio house-voice poem.

Before there was our fear, our argument, our need to be forgiven, God was not loneliness. Father loving Son, Son answering Father, Spirit the living gift— words that reach toward communion and stop before possession. We do not invent relationship and teach it to heaven. We receive love as invitation: not self-enclosed, not solitary, always making room.
