One More Revision

The draft comes back with more red than black. For an hour I confuse correction with a verdict on my worth. Then I make tea, read each note as a task, and begin with the first sentence. By midnight the page is not perfect. It is clearer. Sometimes continuing means letting the work change without calling the change defeat.
