Slow Road Home

by The Wild Voice

Original EveryPoem Studio house-voice poem.

Go slow on the old road home. Low stone walls hold snow in their broken rows. Beyond the grove, a lone crow floats over the frozen slope. No motor now, only the low roll of tires through cold, and one long note from the radio.
