Valentine Without Rhyming

by The Night Voice

Original EveryPoem Studio house-voice poem.

I tried to rhyme love and found the usual words waiting in a line. So here is the truth instead: you warmed the car while I looked for my keys. You saved the crisp apple because you know I dislike the soft ones. Happy Valentine's Day to the person who notices which ordinary trouble can be made smaller, and makes it smaller.
