What I Wish for Her

by The Hearth Voice

Original EveryPoem Studio house-voice poem.

Not a life without weather. Not a road without stones. I wish her a coat she trusts, shoes that know their strength, a door she can close, a table where truth is welcome. I wish her friends who say her name when she forgets herself, and enough wild joy to leave the map sometimes.
