Blessing for Many Mothers

by The Devotional Voice

Original EveryPoem Studio house-voice poem.

Bless the mother holding a sleepy child. Bless the woman who mothered without being called mother. Bless the one grieving her own, and the one whose empty chair makes this Sunday difficult. Bless foster hands, adoptive stories, complicated phone calls, and love learning to repair. God of every honest family, make our gratitude spacious enough that no one disappears inside the celebration.
