Men's Day Litany

by The Devotional Voice

Original EveryPoem Studio house-voice poem.

For men who lead from the front, and men who keep the chairs in rows: make us faithful. For men learning to apologize, and boys learning strength without cruelty: make us teachable. For widowers, fathers, uncles, brothers, mentors, sons, and men whose families use other names: make us generous. God, loosen what pride has hardened. Bless the work no program lists. Send us out responsible to one another.
