Mother's Day Call to Worship

by The Devotional Voice

Original EveryPoem Studio house-voice poem.

We gather with gratitude and with stories that do not match. Some come celebrating. Some come grieving. Some were mothered with tenderness. Some are learning care without the example they deserved. God who knows every household truth, receive joy without forcing it, receive sorrow without hiding it, and teach us to honor the labor of love wherever it has been faithfully given. Let worship make room.
