Low Tide at Rhossili

by The Wild Voice

Original EveryPoem Studio house-voice poem.

At Rhossili, the tide withdraws far enough to alter distance. Wet sand holds the sky. Gulls work the wind above the long curve of the bay. Boot prints begin clearly, then soften where a stream crosses toward the sea. Wales is not small from here. The walk keeps lengthening, and the headland asks the eye to measure again.
