The Reading Log
Original EveryPoem Studio house-voice poem.
I read beneath the table.
I read inside the car.
I read while brushing one side of my teeth.
The log asks for minutes,
title,
a grown-up signature.
It does not ask
where the dragon landed
or why I missed the turning.
Some things a box
is too square to hold.
