Homework at Bedtime

At eight o'clock my worksheet says Explain the water cycle. At eight-oh-five my brain becomes a cloud without a title. At eight-ten I rain on the page, evaporate toward the stairs, then condense beside the biscuit tin. Mum sends me back to science. The cycle is complete.
