My Daughter at Thirty

by The Hearth Voice

Original EveryPoem Studio house-voice poem.

Thirty does not need advice wrapped in a birthday card. It needs room for the life already under construction: work she may leave, friends who know the spare key, plans she has not told us yet. So I write only this: I am proud of what you choose, and here when choosing is hard.
