River, Dove, and Voice
Original EveryPoem Studio house-voice poem.
The Son stands ankle-deep in Jordan water.
The Spirit descends—not captured,
not owned—a dove's brief shape
against the morning.
From beyond the visible,
a voice names love.
Water, wing, and word
meet in one scene,
not to make God simple,
but to show relationship
before the road turns toward wilderness.
The river carries the light onward.
